Our exclusive Teach Yourself Series (TYS) and Teach Yourself Video Series (TYS-VS) are available for Data Analytics.

Our expert teachers have identified the most important topics that require a high level of understanding to ensure success in Units 1 to 4 of Data Analytics and have created:

1. the Teach Yourself Series: A detailed review of each key topic in Data Analytics, including a comprehensive content review, questions and corresponding solutions and explanations as separate booklets on each key topic.
2. the Teach Yourself Video Series: An effective, engaging and concise video tutorial (30 to 90 minute tutorials on each topic) on each key topic providing detailed explanations on the key examinable areas of the study design to assist students to master one topic at a time.
    

The TYS and TYS-VS are designed to emphasise and consolidate the critical aspects of each topic ensuring that students are learning, remembering and understanding the key content examined by the VCAA, and are able to progressively do this throughout the year as each topic is learned.

The following topics are available for the current Data Analytics study design:

• Topic 3 - Databases and spreadsheets (Units 1, 3 & 4)

• Topic 5 - Project plans (Units 2, 3 & 4)
• Topic 6 - Data Visualisation and infographics (Units 1, 3 & 4)
• Topic 7 - Emerging trends (Units 2, 3 & 4)
• Topic 8 - Cyber Security (Units 2 & 4)
• Topic 9 - Cryptography (Unit 2)
• Topic 10 - Networks - Organisation and data (Units 2 & 3)

All TYS Topics are issued copyright free for the purchasing school.

All TYS-VS are issued as One School License per Subject – The TYS-VS is offered on a license basis to the purchasing school, expiring at the end of the current study design for each subject. Only one license is needed per subject per school for all students attending the school and for the entire length of the study design!  Access to the TYS-VS beyond the current study design will require another purchase of the resource by the school.
