Andrew has been part of the TSSM Physics and Systems Engineering team since 2023. He is an extremely passionate teacher who enjoys seeing his students achieve their learning outcomes while scoring impressive study scores.

With a degree in engineering and having worked as an aerospace engineer for 15 years prior to becoming a teacher, Andrew is able to relate the examinable content to students in a real world perspective, drawing on many examples to help his students thoroughly understand the concepts.

Andrew is a great teacher with a special ability to engage students' interest in the subject matter while covering the complex concepts of Physics and Systems Engineering in an easy to understand manner.

Andrew also plays an important role in producing high quality VCE resources in the Physics and Systems Engineering for TSSM, which are used by thousands of students and teachers alike.

Teaching Philosophy:

The teacher recognises that every child has a different learning journey. Every child possesses different capabilities along with a different fund of knowledge.

The Teacher shall endeavour to make learning assessable to all students and meet the specific learning needs of each student, through differentiation and scaffolding to bridge their zone of proximal development.
