Irma has been part of the TSSM’s Arts team since 2024. She is an extremely passionate teacher who enjoys seeing her students achieve their learning outcomes while scoring impressive study scores.
Irma has taught senior Art Making & Exhibiting and Art Creative Practice since 2017, giving her extensive experience in the subject.
Irma also plays an important role in producing high quality VCE resources used by many teacher and students in Art Making & Exhibiting and Art Creative Practice for TSSM.

As an art teacher, Irma believes in fostering creativity and self-expression. Her philosophy revolves around encouraging students to explore, make mistakes, and find their unique voice through art. She aims to create a safe and supportive environment where students can experiment and grow both artistically and personally. Through art, students learn not only technical skills but also gain empathy, resilience, and the power of imagination. Her goal is to inspire a lifelong love for creativity and help students realize the transformative potential of art in their lives.
